The question is, was it over-stepping of me to suggest that a Catholic voting for Obama was a sin? Okay, well, with St. Thomas, I will grant you that hopelessly stupid Catholics could possibly be exempted from the pain of sin here. Also, a case could be made that Catholics who are invincibly ignorant (that is really, really clueless through no choice of their own and completely unaware of the gifts available to them to inform their consciences through the compassionate light of the Holy Spirit as it speaks through the teaching authority of the Church) could also escape responsibility in this matter. So, if you, Catholic for Obama are either of these, hopelessly stupid or invincibly ignorant, you would possibly not be flirting with grievously sinful behavior by voting for Obama, and I would feel compelled to apologize to you for suggesting it. Of course, you would then probably also be too stupid or ignorant to understand my apology, but hey, that would be a matter, say, above my pay grade to correct.

Henry Morgentaler has been awarded the Order of Canada. A man whose life was devoted to killing innocent babies is now given the highest award this country has to offer. This is one of the lowest days in Canadian history. How can he get this award after being responsible for the deaths of the most innocent citizens of this country.
He says he is proud of his work, he is proud of giving women safe abortions. Safe for who? He doesn't even acknowledge the kids he rips apart, burns with chemicals and kills in a most inhuman ways.

Canada's highest honour has been debased. Henry Morgentaler has been awarded the Order of Canada. We are all diminished.
A community's worth is measured by the way it treats the most vulnerable, and no one is more vulnerable than in the first nine months of life's journey. No person may presume to judge the soul of Henry Morgentaler, but it cannot be denied that the effect of his life's work has been a deadly assault upon the most helpless amongst us.
Canada glories in the names of Banting and Best, and the other medical heroes who selflessly brought healing where there was disease and suffering. Now it honours with the Order of Canada a medical man who has brought not healing, but the destruction of the defenseless and immeasurable grief. This award must not stand.

I've been asked by members of Priests for Life to post about the new videos that Fr. Pavone posted on YouTube. The videos are graphic and may be disturbing to some people but I think that is the point.
A lot of people say they are pro choice without knowing what that simple statement actually means. Fr. Pavone does a wonderful job showing exactly what abortion is.
