I found this great video on YouTube

Over the last few days I've been looking around the web in search of new Catholic blogs to read. I've found several which I've added to my favourite feeds section.

I'm amazed at the number of Catholics blogging! It is great to see the web being filled with people who are joyfull about their faith and are not afraid to speak about it!

What I've decided to do is to search the blogs each week and pick one post that I found to be very informative and well written. I will then link to that post on my website.

This week I've picked a post by un-Muted Mumblings which talks about NFP. You can read it here.

Today is Ash Wednesday, which means it's the beginning of Lent.

This lent I will be using several resources to enrich my spiritual life.

First I've bought 3 books which I hope to read and meditate on during this season.

• Guidance To Heaven by Cardinal Giovanni Bonna
• The Art of Dying Weel (or, How to be a Saint, Now and Forever) by St. Robert Bellarmine
• Fire Within by Fr. Thomas Dubay

I've also found a great new podcast which I will add to my daily routine. The podcast is Daily Office of Readings. Normally I read my Office of Reading in the morning before my Morning Prayers, however since my baby came along there have been times where I've missed this rich and wonderful part of the Liturgy of the Hours. With the podcast I can just listen to it on the way to work.

I've also decided that lately I've been watching way too much TV, so I will use this season to cut down on that bad habit and use the time more wisely

Today my baby girl is five months old!

I can't believe there was ever a time when she was not here. I may be a little biased about this, but I do think that she is the most beautiful child in the world. If you think otherwise, you are simply wrong :D
