God or the Girl

An interesting show is about to start on A&E channel this Easter Sunday called God or the Girl.

It follows the experiences of four young men as they are about to make the most important decision of their lives.

Finally some good TV! Read more here

Jesus Prayer

It is a great mystery to me that the great reality of God seems to us less real than the physical world. We live our lives as if God did not exist and the only time that we look to Him is when we are in need.

The most beautiful name of Jesus should be our constant companion. All our actions should be performed with His presence near to us. God is infinitely more real than anything we can see and touch. Perhaps this greatness is to much for us to handle.

In the Jesus Prayer of the Orthodox and Eastern Catholic Churches I find comfort. This simple yet most powerful prayer has helped me more than anything else in realizing that God is so near.

My God keep my heart pure so that I may always recognize You. Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner...

Holy Mother help me to live the Jesus Prayer in my daily live.
